CULTURE

The Colleges aim to expose its students to a rich cultural heritage, especially that which is influenced by the Catholic Church.

Sacred Music:

We make sure that our students are acquainted with the traditional music of the Church. Our chapel and its adornments reflect Catholic liturgical tradition and the best of human creativity.

Eisteddfod:

We regularly enter choirs in the local Eisteddfod - with frequent success. The music chosen for our entries reflects the classical and semi-classical canon.

Celebrations:

We try to lead students to associate feasts of the Church with appropriate festivities. We celebrate one major feast-day per term with solemn Sung Mass and "fun" activities for the whole school. These activities have included to date - Bush-dance, Mission fete, Auctions, Irish Dance, Country Town Showcase,  Variety Concert.  Any funds raised by these events are directed to the Church's outreach to the needy - notably Aid to the Church in Need.
